Virginia High School Football Huddle
Couple of fun facts found on the Virginia High school League website...
#1 Newport News beat Jefferson High of Roanoke 14-7 in the VHSL's first high school football championship game in 1920.
#2 Hampton has won a record 17 state titles
#3 In 2008, 305 Virginia schools fielded teams with 25,864 boys taking part, along with 24 girls.
